Healthy Banana and Blueberry Smoothie

I am such a big fan of smoothies, not only are they refreshing, pretty and pack so much into one little drink but they are so healthy too. It seems too good to be true but this time there is no catch. The only thing I find hard with smoothies, if I’m having it for breakfast, is having to make it up in the morning when it seems so much easy to just throw my porridge in the microwave. Believe me though, it is so worth it! 🙂

Healthy Banana and blueberry Smoothie (Serves 1)

1 banana, peeled

3/4 cup frozen blueberries

1 x 125g tub Greek style coconut yogurt

Juice of 1 orange

1tsp ground flaxseed

  • Put all the ingredients into a blender and whizz until smooth.
  • Serve immediately with a pretty umbrella and a straw. (optional!)
