Tahini Garlic Dressing

I love this dressing, like so much! It is all the flavors of hummus (One of my all time favorite foods ever!) without the chickpeas which means you can use it for practically anything. It can liven up any boring old salad, act as the main attraction in an otherwise unoriginal sandwich or even as a dipping sauce for carrot and apple sticks as a satisfying snack. It is creamy and bursting with flavors and the magical ingredient of course, is the tahini!

This is a sesame paste that can be bought at any health store and it really is a great buy. It gives hummus it’s signature flavor and also provides the perfect smooth, thick texture to this dressing. Also I can’t believe I’m saying this but Happy 1st Birthday to my little blog! It feels like only yesterday that I started this thing and I really can’t thank everyone enough that follows, likes and comments on my posts, for helping my blog to blossom so well and I can’t wait t0 see what the future holds 🙂

Tahini Garlic Dressing (Makes about 3/4 cup)

2tbsp tahini paste

1/4 cup milk

1/2tsp garlic powder

1/2tsp chilli powder

1/2 lemon, juice

1/2tsp ground cumin

1tsp snipped fresh chives

salt and pepper

  • Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and drizzle over whatever takes your fancy 😀
